Travis Hadley is Professor of Government and Political Science at Collin College. He is currently teaching American and Texas government courses, with a focus on Dual Credit.

Dr. Hadley has spent over a decade in higher education. He has taught courses in Political Theory and the History of Political Thought, along with American and Texas government. He has also taught extensively on American political development, from the theoretical foundations of democratic governance to contemporary fiscal and public policy debates at the state and local level.

He has held academic appointments at The University of Texas at Dallas, Christopher Newport University in Virginia, and the University of North Texas. Previously, he worked as a Research Fellow for Utah Valley University’s Center for Constitutional Studies, writing policy analysis papers on the history of federalism in the United States and its application to the current relationship between federal and state governments.

Dr. Hadley received his Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of North Texas in 2014. He also holds an M.A. in Political Science and B.A. in Film Studies and Art History from the University of Alberta in Canada.
